3. HAZARDS

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation Using approved respiratory protection, immediately remove
the affected victim from exposure. Administer artificial
respiration if breathing has stopped. Keep at rest. Call for
prompt medical attention.
Skin Contact Wash with plenty of soap and water after use. Remove grossly
contaminated clothing & launder before re-use.
Eye Contact Rinse with plenty of water, until irritation subsides. If
irritation persists, seek medical advice.
Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Keep at rest. If swallowed and victim
is conscious, rinse mouth with water and give water to drink.
Get medical attention if ill-effects develop or persist.

Fire Fighting Media For surrounding fires, use whatever extinguishing media is
appropriate. Use water spray to cool exposed containers.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal Precautions Wear gloves, goggles and overalls.
Land Spills Prevent liquid from entering sewers, water courses or low
areas. Keep public away. Shut off source, if possible to do so
without hazard. Advise police if substance has entered a
watercourse or sewer or has contaminated soil or vegetation.
Take measures to minimize the effect on ground water.
If spill occurs inside a building, ventilate area and mop or clean
up spill with clean cloths or use sand or earth to absorb the
spill. Use a cloth to remove remaining residue, before disposal
(when dry), or if sand or earth used, scrape up residue with
shovels or pails and place in suitable containers for disposal.
Flush contaminated area with plenty of water.
Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure
conformity to local disposal regulations.
Water Spills Notify port or relevant authority and keep public away. Shut
off source, if possible to do so without hazard. Confine if
possible. May be harmful to aquatic organisms. Notify relevant
authorities of spillage.

and store in a cool, well ventilated place away from
incompatible materials. Empty product containers may contain
product residue. Container can remain hazardous when empty.

Personal Protection General advice - the use and choice of personal protection
equipment is related to the hazard of the product, the
immediate environment and the way the product is handled. If
concerned, we recommend safety glasses, gloves and clothes
protecting arms legs and body be used.
Respiratory protection –– if applying product in windy
conditions or if user suffers from respiratory problems, it is
recommended that a half-face filter mask be used to protect
against over exposure by inhalation.
Hand protection - when handling this product, it may be
prudent to wear chemical resistant gloves such as nitrile
rubber, or barrier cream.
Eye protection –– approved safety goggles, if required.
Skin/body protection –– appropriate clothing to prevent skin
contact.
